    These 2 steps worked for me:

    1 - Install version 1.28 from the Aute link  below, and it will update itself to latest 1.32  on first run 

    http://download.auteltech.net/Download/PCSuite/MaxiPCSuit/V1.28/MaxiPCSuite_V1.28.zip

    2 - connect to a USB 3 port on your computer,  Mine worked with USB 3 but not USB2.

    The PC will recognize the unit once you select the Update mode in the ML's Setup screen, and it will do an update of the firmware and DTC codes.
